2023 SMCMA Family Picnic September 5, 2023 Areas of interest(s): events, family friendly, picnic, smcma On July 29, 2023, SMCMA hosted a Physician Family Picnic at Central Park in San Mateo. The picnic was a family friendly event for Peninsula physicians and drew 52 local physician families and over 130 total attendees. Picnic registration was free for both SMCMA members and non-members with the intent of bringing together physicians of all specialties, practice types, and career stages to share experiences and build camaraderie through connection with other physicians they may otherwise never interact with. Aside from networking, the picnic provided food and activities for children including a bouncy house, playground, and games. Children were able to burn off some summer energy while physicians connected with their colleagues from across the Peninsula in the beautiful setting of Central Park.
