Introducing SMCMA's 2026 Board of Directors

The San Mateo County Medical Association is pleased to introduce its 2026 Board of Directors, a dedicated group of physician leaders committed to advancing the practice of medicine and strengthening organized medicine throughout San Mateo County.

The 2026 Board reflects the diversity of our local medical community and will provide strategic leadership, governance oversight, and advocacy on behalf of physicians and their patients. Throughout the year ahead, the Board will focus on issues critical to members, including supporting practice sustainability, addressing workforce and access challenges, and maintaining strong relationships with local and state policymakers – ensuring that SMCMA remains a trusted voice for physicians and an effective advocate for high-quality patient care.

SMCMA extends its sincere appreciation to the physicians who have stepped forward to serve. We look forward to working closely with the 2026 Board of Directors as they lead the organization in support of our members and the communities we serve.

Physicians interested in serving or nominating a colleague are encouraged to complete the Board Nominations form. Applications are accepted year-round and self-nominations are encouraged.
