SMCMA Relaunches Social Media Platforms September 2, 2024 Areas of interest(s): Facebook.com, Linkedin.com, social media, X.com In August, SMCMA continued to grow its digital presence with a soft re-launch of their social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. Several objectives and key performance indicators have been established for growing SMCMA’s presence on social media, and the campaign aims to pursue the following goals: Improve Member Engagement: Increase membership engagement using forms of social media our members are already using and are familiar with. Brand Awareness: Improve SMCMA’s visibility amongst physicians, health care organizations, members of the media, and other interested parties. Connect to the Greater Community: Enhance communication with other local community organizations that are utilizing social media. Information Resource: Serve as a source of local, statewide, and national matters impacting health care, public health, and the practice of medicine.
